Do you have important dates you can't afford to forget?

I created EmailReminder.net because I thought it would be a fun project.
With my busy schedule, there are some things that simply slip my mind.
This project was thought up with "me" in mind, but I thought it would be
more fun to make it a free service available to the public.

Each registered user has their own profile that gives them access to all their personal preferences.
A user can add and change up to three email addresses in their profile. Since reminders can be scheduled
down to a specific time, users also are asked to set their timezone upon their first login.

The "reminders" page shows each user their own reminder list. The site allows for both
one-time-only and recurring reminders. My personal account reminds me of friends' birthdays,
when certain bills are due, and even when to change my furnace filters.

Scouring the internet, I was able to find many wireless providers with email capability.
I compiled this list of providers along with the email syntax used by each. There's also
cell and pager icons so that users can see which service is correct for them at a glance.

Because I like to have my websites maintain themselves, I added an FAQ section to answer
common questions I thought might come up. These include my privacy statement and other answers
pertaining to service providers, cost, etc.

This was one of my absolute favorite projects. It gave me the ability to hone my PHP / MySQL
skills: which ultimately gave me the ability to develop some very useful websites. I invite you
to create an account at EmailReminder.net
and give it a shot. If you have any questions or comments, be sure to let me know via the "contact" link.
