MainDrayn is always looking for new listeners.

MainDrayn is a local Tulsa band lead by my brother Jesse. Lucky for him I was looking for a web project when he decided to take their music online. The most important thing to the fans of MainDrayn is what's currently going on so the first page you come to is the News page. Band members have the ability to add, edit and remove news posts through the admin interface.
Among other content at MainDrayn you can listen to and purchase their latest music. I've been told they plan to offer other goodies such as shirts, mugs etc. but I have not seen any proof of this.
MainDrayn also likes to show off their photography. I gave them a database driven photo gallery that automates the entire process of uploading and archiving pictures in the database. Site maintenance is almost too easy for them.

The real gold of this website is the flash music player at the bottom. I had to develop it from scratch since it was created before mainstream flash mp3 players were in existence. The spectrum analyzer is real and reads variables from the SWF (flash movie file) which is extracted from the MP3 audio file that's playing. The playlist can hold six songs and is database driven. This allows the band members to easily maintain their own website. When the player first loads it does a bandwidth test to see if your connection is fast enough to listen to hi-fi music. If the tests fails, lo-fi mode is automatically chosen so even dial-up users can listen to the streaming music.

Visit MainDrayn.com and let them know what you think of their music.
